My girl hates Prince, can't do anything to change this terrible situation. So far, the only songs she can bear - through gritted teeth are:

honestly all listen 2 all day is Prince & The Related Artist. about 98% of the time.
"occasionaly" the radio 4 my step-kids occasionally. but MOST of the time it's P. any1 else would get tired of that & leave me but then say good ridence but this is very important 2 me.

answer if she HATED his music...as we stand now, she seems to respect his talent. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

I wouldn't disqualify someone if they didn't like Prince, I do think it's better to be with someone who DOES like him.
Thankfully my boy is into Prince as well, he's not quite the freak that I am, but he did attend the celebration in 2001 and has every released cd, so it's all good. he just gets bored when I start talkin bootlegs.. | |

They just have to respect the fact that I like him (which is true of everything), and be open to listening to at least SOME of his stuff.
I'm lucky that my current boyfriend enjoys it when I try to educate him on P - but I guess it's a give and take thing, as he is always educating me on his music. Last week I was so blown away when we were listening to TRC and he asked me to burn him a copy! Whoohoo! Christopher, you are hot garbage!
