Domesticated Orgers...Does This "Oxy" Cleaning Shit In All These Cleaning Products Work? I was at a buddy's place and his chick had ALL this cleaning shit with "Oxy" in the name. Now, I've seen that loud-ass, thick-brunette-bearded muthafucka in the blue shirt and khakis all the time preachin' this "Oxy" shit, and I just wanted to know if it's all "fluff for fools" or the real deal? Speak on it. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

That's Billy Mays and lawd does he ever go on and on and try to sell us shit. I have used oxyclean for carpets and felt I got the same results from anything else. I used to put scoops of oxyclean in my laundry and really did'nt see any difference so I say its a bunch of fluff. I dont buy it anymore. Don't take life too seriously, noone gets out alive.

I tried that stuff and didn’t notice any difference.
But then again, it’s not like I come in from a day at work covered in mud from head to toe though. I hate commercial cleaning products anyway. Seventh Generation All the way! Where’s Supa? I get better results using straight up hydrogen peroxide... takes out about any organic stain when used quickly. http://prince.org/msg/105/307615

I use the Oxyclean Stain Remover for clothes all the time; I love it! It even takes blood out of clothes, if you use it right away so that the stain doesn't have time to set in. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Now THAT I've tried and it did get a stain out of a shirt that I hadn't ever washed for about 3 years after I got it stained. So I'm gonna buy that and use that. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

Our 19 yr old son works during the summer, landscaping and all kinds a dirty work and in the late fall on a x-mas tree farm
It's the only time I use it and I have noticed a difference in the amount of dirt that comes off his jeans - sometimes I only have to wash the load 1 time That's all I know about it
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
It works almost too well. I had ink on my hard wood floors. When I used it I rubbed it gently on the spots but then I got impatient and scrubbed. it ended up pulling up the stain and shellac I had to sand, re-stain and touch up with polyurethane. Landlord didn't notice a thing. I'll never do that shit again [Edited 5/23/09 18:13pm]

sometimes I've heard of people using soda water to lift stains, I wonder if all it means is there is bi-carb in the powder that fizzes up a bit or something (I'm so scientific )
