I have been involved in the arts all my life, and no matter how awsome i think a painting is, when i visit a museum and see it in person, it is always 100 times more amazing to me.

SCORPI09 said: Guernica by Pablo Picasso my all-time favorite, if you couldn't tell by my avatar. i can sit and look at this for hours. i've probably had 5 different prints of it to hang over the years. it's currently hanging in my cubicle and work and i'm going to get a giant-ass version of it when i move into my own place.

ever since I was 9 and saw it in my sister's university art text...
dali's burning giraffe and later on through my own awareness of his work dali's untitled (female figure with head of flowers) it's more collage work usually but i get lost in it... nick bantock (venetian's wife) again not a painting but an engraving (after visiting mexico) jose guadalupe posada's don ferruco and his love from yet another book series i love from terry jones's lady cottington's pressed fairies i swear i had no idea the female form figured so heavily in my art taste!

it's not a painting, but i still love it, my best friend drew it for our anti-gang violence book we published called 'gang war', the name of the drawing is "front page".

I know it seems self-indulgent, but these are probably my favorite paintings that I've done so far.
I don't know about other artists, but for me it's very seldom that I can enjoy my own work the way I do the work of others. All gone. I miss them. Campesina con bicicleta roja Acoustic Moonlight The Singer & the Saxophonist
