No pics available, but probably a tie between The Isle of Capris (Italy) and somewhere around the bases of the Alps, like Montreux (Switzerland).

Y'all should try to check out the Sunday Inspirational Brunch at the Astor on 9th & Washington. It's campy and fun with this New York sista named Maryel Epps, she's a total insitution on South Beach who's sung or recorded backround for every star since baby jeezus. It's a 15 year thing, supported by locals and the occasional celebrity pops in. Mind you, this ain't our mother's version of gospel brunch, she performs in a choir robe with feather boas, the is audience a cross section of black, white, latin, Christina,Jewish, straight and gay. She's very fun and engaging, spoils her audience silly. When she see yo shoes she's going to make a beeline straight for you, watch!

Where y'all staying?

Oh I forgot, it is still early there giggle. But shoot, we start drankin' in Miami Beach, early so it's alllll good. lol . You know, Lenny has lived there forever (well he lives a buncha places...). But he has family there (I used to run around with some of those fools circa '89-92) Maybe 9-10 years ago I worked on a photoshoot in his ranch house off of Biscayne Blvd, it's close to the other News Cafe on across the bay on Miami's upper east side. That shit looks like the the movie 2001 meets Battlestar Gallactica, he really has amazing taste. His interior design firm does some hot shit, too, with his lil' compact ass lol

Girl, you was doing tha damn thang! thumbs up! I do love his taste. One of my best friends was a model and lived in Miami and was good friends with him. The stories she tells of kicking it with that fool are hilarious! And you ain't playing he's almost Prince-sized. When I saw him I thought about tackling him but I couldn't decide whether I should hump him or steal his Roberto Cavalli shopping bags. hmmm

Actually, I should dig up the pictures of the areas surrounding
Salzburg, Austria. The drive from Salzburg to Halstatt was
breathtaking in places. The Austrian country side is
just amazing, really.

Really? It is beautiful indeed. In the part of Croatia where I live, which is the most developed part of the country (it hasn't been directly affected by the war and it was a part of Italy and Austria until 1945) you can have a real Mediterranean experience - clean sea, ancient Roman monuments, great food - fish, truffles, olives, figs, grapes, wine...
I hope your wish will come true wink

There are parts of Croatia that belonged to Austria until 1945? I never heard about that. There was not even an independent Austria at that time, but we were part of Germany.

No no,I wasn't reffering to the independent Austria. One part was under the rule of the Habsburgs while the other part belonged to Venice and later the whole area was given to the Kingdom of Italy. Here's a link with a historic overview of this small corner of the world wink http://www.istra-istria.h...php?id=860 in case you want to know more or if I haven't explained it well

I have lived in / been to some beautiful old cities too, like Salamanca, absolutely stunningly beautiful Spanish medieval university town. Great atmosphere, great weather, great nightlife, great life in general. Lived there 9 years ago and still miss it sometimes.

The 'Golden' City:

View on the town and old cathedral from the river

The 'new' cathedral

The 14th century public university

The Catholic university

Convento de san esteban

Plaza mayor by night
