Did u get ur first job? - 8. I got paid to paint my neighbor's fence. I babysat from about 12-15. My first job that I had a regular schedule and received a weekly paycheck was at 16.
Move out of home? - 18 Buy your first car? - I think about 20... My parent's gave me a car when I was 18 but it conked out within a few years and I bought my own cars after that. Buy your first home? - Hopefully this year (and I'll be 34 in June). I have my first meeting with my realtor tonight! Buy your first investment home (other than ur principal home) - Never gonna happen.

(I think it's just biology - I know I'm not ready and I think I'd make a terrible mother but occasioanlly I irrationally WANT one. lol.) But I don't think I'll ever be in a position to, really. I'm about to be 34 and I'm single. And the prospect of dating really doesn't appeal to me. If I were more well-off money-wise I'd consider fostering and that still may be an option on the future. But I'm not sure I really see it happening. |
