Anyone here from France or know of French currency?

Do you.they put a , instead of a . Such as 4,50 is that the same thing as 4.50? I know it's not the same value, but does the comma replace the decimal in French currency?

No, wait, I'm confused. lol 4,50 € is 4 Euro 50 Cents. We don't usually write 4.50. A "." is used for 1.000 € for example. Which would be 1,000 $, right?

Anyway, I'm German but I guess le France people write the same way.

In Europe they switch the commas and decimals...

4.500,00€ is the same as $4,500.00 (not the same value however!)

on 2nd thought I could be wrong... it's been 3 years since my last visit...

In the UK we use smiley faces instead of decimal points. It's because we're so happy. So £4.50 becomes £4 smile 50.
