Is that what it would take for u to consider urself rich though? yes... because i like to think of myself as part of the human race.... not a disgustingly selfish westerner

I would consider myself rich if I owned my own home, had a car,and at least $2 Million in the bank. Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. ~Berthold Auerbach

Yep, so long as I've got a roof over my head, can take care of my wife and family, can pay my bills and have enough food to eat I feel rich. Anything less and I worry but anything more I'm not really fussed about. So long as I've enough and don't have to worry I feel like the richest man on earth.

It's difficult, though, to find that financial "place" where you feel you don't have to worry. For me, it would extend beyond having food to eat and paying my bills...it would extend to providing an education for my daughter and being able to take care of my elderly parents, as well as being able to at the very least afford health insurance to guarantee I can get health care no matter what situations may unfortunately arise. And that's just for starters lol

That would be my definition of financially stable/content ...doing ok.... But at what point does that change to wealthy/rich ...or is ur answer still the same? .....

That would be my definition, too ... Rich would be having the roof over my head and food on the table without worry, along with having a new, reliable car...enough money to pay for my daughter's tuition to college no matter where she may go...to guarantee that my parents are taken care of without financial worry...to allow myself to receive quality health care no matter the reasons I should need it...to own outright the house I live in...and to be able to easily afford the two luxuries in life that I adore: photography and travel. That would go far beyond financially stable and content, obviously lol...

Still the same, but in regards to what Byron said, it would need to change if I had children of my own. But the same would still apply. Financially stable/content is as good as rich in my book. The importance of having enough makes any extra things I could want rather than need pale by comparison. I just don't really find myself wanting all that much.
