nothing really urgent

books or art supplies, something productive! nod

My son loves art stuff. When he goes to the store he always wants something creative. I keep trying to talk him into taking piano lessons (like his mama biggrin ). We'll see. He loves anything art and I do think it's a good gift.

music lessons are great for young kids, my niece can't get enough of the piano (she's turning 6 next month) and she says she wants to tackle the drums next!
she does pretty well in visual arts too - that's m'girl! touched

i find children appreciate the arts (music, drama, visual art, etc.) a lot more nod

I'm just a proud mom and I brag. biggrin

Their dad hates it but I try to let them express themselves. I let my littlest style his own hair for school. He likes to go with a faux hawk. giggle

It's cute and it's a way that they can be who they are.

I need a place to store my power tools, and
a place I can chill while watching sports

I also need to go gun shopping if I ever
want to go hunting for Moose.

I have so much shit to do in the next 3 days before I leave for Hawaii that it's ridiculous.

AT WORK:
1 export delivery list for seed being sent to Mexico + compiling all of the legal documentation that goes with it
1 delivery list for seed going to Cornell University + all the legal documentation
updating the substitutes for a trial that I put together and planted next week
help plant for a few hours
write protocols and instructions for my minions to follow while they package fire seed while I'm gone for 3 weeks
submit my plane ticket receipt to my expense account before i leave
complete some bullshit conduct course online about sexual harrassment or records management or conflict of interest or some other equally irritating and useless topic. i haven't even checked yet.
contact the minion who is currently in Hawaii that i'm taking over for to get an update on what's in store for me when i get there

AT HOME:
    laundry
send work clothes/boots/supplies to Hawaii ahead of me
buy travel-sized toiletries and personal items
go to a graduation, a graduation party, and buy 2 graduation gifts
find time to see the Terminator with one of two of my best friends who both want me to go, but don't get along.
get a haircut, if only they'd answer the damn phone so i could schedule an appointment.
    pack
pay my storage, rent and car insurance for June
get to old navy to buy some cheap t-shirts for field work
harvest my sunflowers on facebook's farm town
pick up a ride to Chicago with my sister
    make an ill-advised phone call
"does my cock look fat in these jeans?"

Strip, repair and paint the front entrance of my home.

Strip wall paper from inside of house. Plaster and polish those surfaces.

Rip out a bunch of carpeting and carpet tack strips.

Plant a garden. And get control of my wild backyard landscape by digging out and removing much of it. Especially those damn ditch lillys. Plant many boxwoods in various sizes and shapes.

Hopefully much if not all will be done by fall.
