Anyone following the NHL Playoffs? I think the final four will be Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Pengins in the East, and Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks in the West. As much as I hate Boston, I think they will win the Stanley Cup this year.

I'm a Sabres fan but since they weren't even a decent team this year: Vancouver Canucks baby !!!! "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss

My Preds aren't in, so I decided to pull for the Flames/west and Rangers/east.
And they both got booted in the 1st round, naturally. Now I'm rooting for the Hurricanes/east and Blackhawks//west. "Down by the riverbank in the old bayou.. I'm digging a grave into mud just for you."

The Pittsburgh Penguins have been amazing lately!! That backhanded-no-look shot to no room on the glove side by Malkin was nothing short of incredible! It may be the most jaw dropping goal I have ever seen.
And in the West, it looks just about all over for the Chicago Blackhawks. They were spanked by the Detroit Red Wings 6-1 yesterday. Could be a repeat of last year's final with a Detroit-Pittsburgh match-up once again. I'm betting Pittsburgh will be champions.

The Pens will meet the Wings again, and this time will skate with the cup. The best part of it will be watching Hossa sitting on the ice wishing he had taken the seven year contract that the Pens had offered, but instead signed with the Wings because he felt they had a better shot at winning.

Yeah, I think Detroit will win their series tonight to go on to face Pittsburgh again in the Stanley Cup final. Should be a dandy as Ron McLean would say. I'm a bit worried about Sidney Crosby though, because he touched the East Division trophy, which hockey supersition claims is always bad luck.

Lemieux touched it in '91 and they went on to win a cup, so that's a bogus superstition. Besides, old decrepit Detroit will have no match for Sid, Geno and company. Oh, and Hossa can suck it!
