DREAMS WITHIN DREAMS....

There has been a few occasions lately where I have experienced the same dream more then once within the same night. I had one dream and thought I had woken up to sleep paralysis during the night, I fell asleep again to overcome this, and experienced the same dream before waking up again for the morning. Most of the time the dreams are quite standard and other times they have been slightly unsettling.

I was advised by a family member who is brilliant in predicting the meanings of dreams that they may be dreams within dreams. She said that as I was dreaming I entered a new dream or an old dream again and most likely thought I had woken up but actually only woke up to another dream. She referred to it as false awakening. According to facts, after entering REM 90 minutes into sleep, this is when it will occur and become more intense. Apparently, it's not uncommon and perfectly normal.

I'd like to know if anyone here has had a similiar experience regarding this and any further insight you can enlighten me with.

I have a dream where I 'wake up' thinking about that dream.. I'll grab a piece of paper and write down what I thought the dream meant.... & then i'd really wake up! usually to a dark room as its still in the dead of night..eek

it always spooks me no matter how many times it happens, I can recall believing i've awoken 2 or more times only to realise in the 'true morning' I was dreaming all of it lol
Funny thing is I can never remember what the dreams within dreams are about even though I 'dream' write them down.

I only remember that I have had one of the fake wake up a trillion times dreams
lol
One minute they want peace……

Then do everything to make it go away. rolleyes

I experienced something quite funny. I had a dream about my man cooking when he started pouring salt above my head. I told him to stop pouring salt on my head but he didn't listen to me... then I woke up all of a sudden. I noticed he was awaken just the same so I asked "Why did you poursalt on my head?" "I didn't pour anything" "Yes you did!" "No I didn't"... Then I woke up for good, noticing the previous part was still within the dream. I asked again my man why the salt pouring, he was still sleepy and like WTF, "whatchatalkinabout?"...

Not really enlightening I guess lol
Is there any place of refuge one can flee from this insanity
