My uncle passed away... I lost my uncle on May 11 at a little after midnight. That night not only did I lose my uncle,but my job as well. I have been his caretaker for 16 yrs,and it was my first,and only job. It has been a week now,and I still feel like I am waiting to wake up from a horrible dream. I feel extremely lost,and even though I was right there with him when he passed,it still doesn't feel real. I am glad that I was able to be there with him,but at the same time I wish I hadn't.

Dealing with death is one thing but dealing with a seachange in your life on top of it makes the experience that much more difficult and challenging. Oh my God, what a huge loss. Your day to day life will be drastically changed, and that's so hard to deal with in addition to the grief.
