Uh....he was also IN PUBLIC Generally, this is the type of thing that we are supposed to do in private, away from public view. He's lucky that these teens didn't get his license plate number. Your car is not considered private property?

[Edited 5/17/09 21:58pm] That makes me wondering if the jerking one didn't do it on purpose to get caught He prolly shot THE BIG ONE over the whole ordeal once he got home. Not to mention if he's come across this video.

What's with people calling this guy a sicko? He had it covered up, at least!
Maybe he couldn't go home; it was probably his lunch break. None of you have ever rubbed one out in the car on your lunch break? I know I have. The Normal Whores Club

Your car is not considered private property? Your car is your private property. But if an officer sees a violation, they don't need a search warrant to act. They need probable cause, and exigent circumstances. Observing a violation gives them both. Any felony charge will allow them to search your car. Depending on the jurisdiction, a misdemeanor may not be enough. A felony means an arrest and they can make and administrative search prior to having the vehicle towed into custody. As a woman, if you are ever stopped by police make sure your purse is on your person. That makes it part of you, not part of the car. Then they need probable cause to know they need to search your purse. Highly unlikely any scenario short of watching you put a gun in your purse is going to give them probable cause. If they ask to search you or the car, you can say no. You should say no. Even if you think you have nothing to hide. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.
