Most of my overseas family lives in Germany. When I finally visit there, I cannot wait to visit the Turkish neighborhoods; several in the family have Turkish spouses. And Auf der anderen Seite was one of my favorite films of '07.  It's one of the things that solidified my decision to get out there.
As for the hectic-ness of Istanbul, you're not the first person to tell me this. I hope to make it out as far as the Aegan when I'm there, as I should have plenty of time to do so. As for Byron's pictures, I remember the thread. I'll go searching. Thank you! Oh shit, my hat done fell off | |
