Anybody watching Eurovision Song Contest tonight?

I certainly will be watching...
Since 1986 almost all of Iceland has been glued to their TV-screens each year when Iceland takes part in this extremely campy song competition.....
For the most part we have been unsuccessful in the competition, rarely reaching the top 10, although we did make it to the 2nd place in 1999...
This year the Icelandic entry was selected by televoting from one of the two semi-finals to compete in the finals which are held tonight in Moscow.

Here's the Icelandic entry, sung by the hot 18 year old Yohanna (her name is actually Jóhanna Guðrún, she changed her stage name to Yohanna because of "pronounciation issues")...
I'm not too crazy about the song but her performance is really strong..... and she's got great boobs. (she's on record that her "twins" are real) razz
This is Yohanna with "Is It True" from Tuesday's semi-final:

Here's one of the more interesting songs in the final, from Norway:

My plans for tonight: Watch Eurovision with cold beer and snacks on hand and PRAY that Dita Von Teese's tits pop out during Germany's entry. (she's a back-up dancer in the song) evillol

This was the first time I've actually heard that song...

... and it was just as shitty as I thought it would be lol

It's some girl called Jade singing a song written by Andrew Lloyd-Webber..

It sounds like it's from a musical... which is typical for him. lol

Andrew Lloyd-Webber has said he envies the composer of the Icelandic entry because he wished he had written it himself. biggrin

lol I kinda like it, it's catchy and very eurovision. I don't think it'll win, but might do ok with the scores...

That song is OK for me... One question though...
Is the rapper that guy from the Bomfunk MCs? He sounds just like him.

I do agree, it's very Eurovision... which is exactly why it sucks lol

En mä usko, tai no, se riippuu siitä, että haluaako mun 7-vuotias kummityttö katella sitä lol

Roughly translated, it would be something like

"Below, you can see all the products you've placed in your shopping cart.
You may also print this* list and bring it with you to the department store."

* Apparently refers to some kind of shopping list present on the same page as the piece of text which you posted.

I always have friends performing in this thing; I didn't realize it was tonight eek .I've got 4 friends who went to Moscow to prepare for this... realistically it's just a gig for them and has very little effect on their professional lives, but I do get a kick out of recording it, and then we have giggle parties afterwards on who messed up what giggle giggle giggle

I missed the first 8 entries but out of what I've seen, Norway's gonna win.
UK and Moldova were not bad either.
The 10 seconds French clip looked interesting too
