Suggest a good wine! I'm so clueless when it comes to good wine...any favorites you guys have? I think dinner is going to be steak or lobster and the wine preference is somewhere from Chili or Australia. I usually pick a bottle between $15-$20 with a pretty label.
Any suggestions??? | |

We had a bottle of 2007 Riesling a couple of weekends ago and it was perfect.
It was so good I took a picture of the bottle so I could pick up some soon, but the picture is so dark I can't make out the label. There's a DRL emblem at the top. I'm firmly planted in denial

![]() I used to love La Crema Chardonnay. But I'm just not feelin' the oak these days. If you can find any whites or rosés by Verget...they are great values and absolutely delicious. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

That's the only red I can drink. (Reds give me a headache.) Carrie, I've always heard red wine for red meat, white wine for seafood and white meat. If you want Australian, try a shiraz (sometimes spelled Shirah, I think).

Anything from Brown Brothers or Marlborough is amazing. Best buy would be Oyster Bay or Monkey Bay. If your after a sparkling wine then Moet & Chandon is the go.
