Twitter rocks.

I deleted mine tho, It just didn't wasn't my personal thing.

It is awesome for networking. An absolute social media powerhouse. I'm loving how it's changing things... microblogging, haha, who'd of thought?

Nope. I don't do any social networking sites.

Unless I can figure out how to use them as a tool to make me some dough, or help me to go on a vacation, or even just something hobby specific, I ain't interested wink

In regards to media networking, I think it's brilliant. You can instantly grab the attention of a semi-captive audience to keep them on top of your every move, and hopefully keep them interested in you as a brand. If you're not in a situation where you need that sort of mass love/interest/supoort to translate into something fruitful for business, it's really a bit odd to me. Our attention spans are becoming so short that we can only communicate with each other in 150 text words or less, and we have an insatiable need to have thousands of people with their eyes on us constantly.....it's all too 1984-ish for me...we are being conditioned to accept that there will eventually be some sort of surveilance on our every activity 24/7 and I'm kinda weirded out by it (and how readiily and easily people accept it) pc

I have an account, but I don't really know why. I was drunk when I made it, and I did so so I could internet stalk certain famous folk. It's such a waste of time though. sigh

I agree.

We found it to be a great tool for our nonprofit. One of our team members has been quite successful in creating a presence in our community and beyond thru Twitter and other social media sites. However, we also employ traditional methods but the world is changing and so must we...

Social networking for marketing, fundraising and building community is smart. As a project manager, artist, or volunteer it is a wonderful way to link with other like minded communities/organizations quickly and efficiently. It helps us to link, share and collaborate.

Haha, I'm wordy, that is probably why twitter doesn't work for me personally. biggrin

I'm on it, but don't update too often. I'm trying. Facebook,my blog, here and NPGUnderground already keep me online quite a bit. If I keep adding social networking sites I'm afraid I'll never paint.

I'm latinpop on Twitter.
