It's illegal in a lot of places to ride your bike on the sidewalk. If you're on the road, be prepared to have patience with others making use of the space, or just don't drive. If you don't have the patience to deal with someone using a bike, just take the damned bus.
I really miss riding a bike. But ever since the hit and run a few years back even walking I'm slightly terrified of being near traffic. I don't think I could handle riding a bike. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!" | |

That said, they need to stay out of traffic and follow ALL traffic rules and laws. Yes! I am all for bikes, and the street is for them, too. But I see way too many of them thinking they don't have to stop for any reason and have the right of way in every instance. Same with pedestrians.
