Sometimes It Snows in May :D yeah that's right... let the stereotypes roll!  :igloo: we had snow today.
it was beautiful yesterday and I was basking in the sun and gardening in my shirtsleeves (70+) but today was cold and windy and there was too much snow on the windshields to leave for the wipers. Gone for the most part now and will get to 70 by the weekend again. But all is right with the world. Mom had a good checkup yesterday. Even though she will probably need another surgery the whole sepsis worry is greatly lessened. 
And Ocean finally got her  three months later

i'll tell you that I love you too It's been the longest Winter ~ We've not had snow this week but below freezing the last few nights. My dreams of swimming in the Lake Huron by Memorial Day are slowly sinking. But, it is Spring, right? So happy to hear about the positive checkup. Music is the language of the spirit. oh goodness I think swimming in the lake is a feat no matter when it's done by!  I got in a mountain lake last summer... that's mountain snow melt. coldest thing ever! didn't go deeper than my thighs.

Lake Superior is pretty icy ~ I've been in all the Great Lakes except Erie ~ too polluted ~ but Superior was so rustic and primal ~ just beautiful but a bit intimidating.Music is the language of the spirit. the palm trees did surprise me when I saw them. I had seen the agave plants in Kelowna... but then Kelowna reminded me a lot of Arizona so that didn't surprise me. I think I flew over the bottom of it from vegas to NYC could you see cities? chicago is at the bottom of lake michigan. I wouldn't have thought you would pass them but I guess I would be surprised at how far north NYC is.
