confused I had an amazing date with a guy a while ago, then he stopped talking to me confused, then we went bowling with a group of people at work and had lots of fun, then he flirted with me and I asked him out for a beer and he said sure, then I saw him on the street today and he said, 'I'm running late, otherwise I'd stop and chat', then later we were both at a party, and as soon as I showed up, he took off.

guys are a weird bunch. They have fragile egos. I wonder if they are treating US the way they would like to be treated - ie. let down gently, give them a chance to save face, no brutal honesty hmmm and I think we want to know the truth so we can get over it and move on. A girl can tell a guy she's not interested, and a guy thinks "what a bitch!" lol but when does a guy ever do a girl a favour like that - we need to be told so we don't keep hoping and being in denial nod mad

I have kept my distance and am not a very communicative person (except online lol) I'm not clear if he knows I like him confuse and yet find it rather uncomfortable to be around him, also complicated by being co-workers. The whole thing is weird. nutty One thing is for sure though. He is definitely not that into me, because I know when a guy is.

It was always in the evening so my makeup for the day was always still on - not because I was trying to impress anyone but because I couldn't be bothered to wash it off before working out.

I do all the horrible things you're not supposed to do when it comes to your skin and my skin is still perfect - even at 35...good genes I guess.

I don't think it's bad to wait until after the gym to wash your face (unless someone is Tammy Fayin' it) - if you wash in the am, before the gym & after, that's 3 washings which could easily strip skin of moisture. 2 is better nod

Neophyte

I only generally put a little powder on my face in the morning, so by the time I reach the gym it is pretty much gone so it makes no difference when I work out.

But I have seen them chicks with the full war paint on to work out but then the ones I have seen ain't really at the gym to work up a sweat so I suppose it doesn't matter much to them!!!

Of course, I should have clarified here. I was mostly refering to those girls who put make up on only to please guys and stop doing it once they're dating someone. Put make up to please youself first, don't do it if you don't like it. And don't ever change your habits because you're not single anymore.

no makeup at the gym...wearing make up to th diry sweaty gym is bad. You are just asking for bad skin.

There are a few girl that go all dressed up, hair did, lipstick perfect...
When my sister and I see them walk in...we always look at each other and say" we be clubin' ".....
Who the hell are you trying to impress at the gym? Please.....

lol lol You are so right! I sweat so much that the combo of sweat and make up would make me break out, no matter how expensive.

it has taken me lots of $$$ and lots of patience to clear up my skin. My skin finally cleared up about 7 weeks ago.... trip to the "face doc" cost $$$
no way im gonna fuck it up by going to the gym wearing makeup...
I sweat way too much!!!
Say it's just a dream...
U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize

So u lean over and give her a kiss
Here on earth, here on earth,
with u it's not so bad
Here on earth, here on earth
eye don't feel so sad
Stay right here

I don't do the gym (as my fat ass will tell you) but I do do dance classes. They're in the evening and I don't get time to wash it all off before I go - not that I would anyway - my skin is so shitty I don't want to inflict it on other people disbelief

I wear Bare Escentual Minerals and I tint my eyelashes (so no streaky mascara)
I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

C'mon and dance while you, while you still have your cherry babe, cherry babe..

Street.

I used to be a dancer in my youth, but a knee injury and boys got in the way... rolleyes I'm trying to find a tap class at the moment, but they're all for beginners and I got up to my teaching grades. Wouldn't go back to ballet if you paid me :hippo in a tutu:

I can relate. A muscle tear and it's rock bottom again, plus your body had been so use to burn that it still calls for food eventhough you become sedentary.

You should try salsa, it's a funny way to workout while dancing if you want to avoid the "fantasia" act. (that's what you called it!)
