Major League Baseball starting the tradition of using pink bats on mothers day a few years ago. In case some of you don't know it's an effort on their part to raise awareness for breast cancer. After the bats are used they will be auctioned off, check www.mlb.com for details. This has to be one of the coolest thing in sports today and I hope everyone participates in some way. Whether it's tuning in and maybe bidding on a bat or just spreading the word to your favorite sport nut. As if you need to be reminded, but we all need to chip in to help fight cancer... do your part!
