Broken ulna during an exercise at the police academy. They didn't believe anything was wrong. I didn't go get it checked out until the next day. I was in severe pain.

Wow, I don't know...

I had countless sprains (ankles, knees... My man calls me rubber joints) but it was less painful than a muscle tear (I still feel it, never really recovered)

Yet all that jazz is less painful than menstrual periods, so sharp and aching, like being stabbed in lower abdomen, that I fainted several times. It all went back to normal with birth control pills.

More recently at my in-law's, I was leading goats back home when the ram untied himself, rushed into me and hit my knee very badly.

What's the most physical pain you've ever experienced?
There was an extremely high slide at the city park when I was little. Kids weren't allowed on it because of its height. When I was six, I climbed it at a birthday party, fell off, and woke up six hours later in my bed with the worst head and neck pain I've ever felt. I was vomiting from the pain.
Is it funny upon reflection?
Not really. The pain continues to this day.
How long did it take you to recover?
n/a

What's the most physical pain you've ever experienced?
Uterine cysts
Is it funny upon reflection?
Hell no.
How long did it take you to recover?
About six weeks.

What's the most physical pain you've ever experienced?
Due to my neck/shoulder pain from the first incident, I popped one of my mom's Vicodins when I was 19. I was sick all night white-knuckling the toilet, begging God to take my life.
Is it funny upon reflection?
God, yes. Not sure why.
How long did it take you to recover?
A few days until I could keep anything down.

What's the most physical pain you've ever experienced?
My best friend fed me a pot brownie about 3 years ago. I don't smoke and have no tolerance, apparently. 40 minutes later I was once again on the floor of the bathroom, begging him to take me to the emergency room. All I remember before that was him sitting me in front of a Seinfeld DVD with a Lean Cuisine, feeding me rice. I was crying because I couldn't chew and was upset that the rice was neverending. I spent the night in the hospital there after vomiting over twenty times. They had me on fluids and the doc told me that the THC in my system was equal to 40 joints.
Is it funny upon reflection?
It's obviously the most hilarious thing that's ever happened to me.
How long did it take you to recover?
I slept for three days straight when we got home.

What's the most physical pain you've ever experienced?
I came down with an allergy to honey products in March(beeswax lip balm). Full-body hives for two weeks and the itching was the most unbearable experience I've ever encountered.
Is it funny upon reflection?
I laugh when I see the pictures. My face looked like a pillowcase full of gumballs. But if it happens again, I'm going to drive my car into a telephone pole. There's no way I'd survive that twice.
How long did it take you to recover?
Two weeks.
Oh shit, my hat done fell off

Either the time I got mauled by a 130-lb Irish wolfhound (it bit me in the abdomen - hurt for several months) or the time I broke my nose.

Fell off a bike, and hit my shin on the metal bar which left a lump for ages.
The pain was so bad that my vision was becoming sort of tunneled and I almost momentarily blacked out,
but made it to a chair in time.

oh, wisdom tooth extraction is NO FUN! A lot of people I know say that experience was their most painful. though mine were super impacted, the surgery went great and there was no pain. did you have someone there to take care of you?

and as for the emotional pain, yeah. having a broken heart tops dropping an anvil on your head. I'd rather eat a whole dish of pot brownies again than experience losing someone. hug

Two times I recall,

The first was when I tore my meniscus in a basketball game, look up shaun livingston knee injury on youtube thats exactly what happened to me. Took 6 months of recovery time

the second thing was breaking my nose during a fighting competition and having to go another 6 minutes with it stinging, bleeding profusely, and my nose being a constant target! lol

Bowel obstruction turned to be 3 swollen lymph nodes were pinching the bowel shut.
Led to this:

Which I then herniated, and had to be re-opened less than a year later and mesh inserted to hold my belly muscles together.

Good times. neutral

childbirth was no picnic, but as soon as i saw the baby that all ended and i felt better right away mushy

hysterectomy, it was mighty uncomfortable, but probably not as bad as i thought it was gonna be.

i think by far the answer has to be the last surgery i had in february, the brostrom on my right ankle (ligament repair). i fell in the grocery store like 9 months ago and it turns out i needed surgery all along sigh i was nervous going in, but when i woke up it didnt seem all that bad... turns out they numb the area during surgery lol, that night about dinner time the pain kicked in and im telling you it was the WORST thing i have EVER been through in my LIFE!!!! there is no other pain that i have experienced that even comes CLOSE to that! the pain was out of control for 9 days... sad
