NFL: The Return of Brett Favre?

I've said it all along - he'll wind up in Minnesota. Dude never wanted the play in NY in the first place.

He really does. Quite the selfish glory hoarding MF.
I thought he'd finally let it go since his main man
crush john madden retired. It's also funny to listen
to mark schlereth talk about how brett still has it. lol

I heard an interview on ESPN radio with a New York sports reporter the other day, and he was asked what the reaction of New Yorkers would be if Favre unretired and played somewhere else next season.

He said that most New Yorkers would laugh and say, "He's your problem now!"

LMFAO, I love New York.

which would be the better problem to have, though, Tavaris Jackson or Brett Favre? Looking at it that way, I'll take Favre. It'd just be bizarre to see a purple # 4 on him, though. I'd have to get one of those jerseys just to annoy my Wisconsin relatives. lol

Great, that is 2 automatic wins 4 the Bears in their division.

The Jets were 8-3, having defeated the Pats and Titans. After that, Favre started breaking down and the season went downhill. Shows you how woeful the Vikes are at QB. They'll take a chance on Favre over Sage Rosenfels and Tavaris Jackson.

This guy will lead the league in picks next year..... if he plays.

If the offensive line plays as good as last year or better (i.e. McKinney doesn't move in slow motion as he has in the past), Favre would have enough time to make the smart decisions. I don't think there would be an increase. Heck, even Tavaris, when he wasn't in "deer-in-headlights" mode, had enough time to make smart throws. He just couldn't find the accuracy half of the time to make them smart. razz

Jackson is pretty much referred to as a "bust" over here. Brushing him aside is probably the best thing Chilly can do right now.

....plus Favre will be playing most of his games indoors, which will help. He's not great in bad weather anymore. We saw that against my G-Men in the NFC Championship.

Sage Rosenfels is better than both of them right now.

Let's not trip now. On paper, Sage is good. I am waiting to see what he does with real players coming at him, then I will say he is better than T-Jack. I can't stand Favre, but I would never say that Sage is better than Favre.

I hope to God that my Minnesota Vikings don't pick up Favre...Please don't make that move Minnesota.
