Sometimes life can be pretty nice.

I spent all day today with 2 of my good friends and we all go back nearly 20 years. We were going to go ice-sailing because it is a sport that can only take place when the lakes are frozen and there isn't snow. Unfortunately there wasn't any wind.

So we called around and found an open golf course. It was sunny and in the mid-forties today with no wind so it was pretty good golfing weather. I played pretty well and crushed my old record of latest golf outing in Minnesota by about 3 weeks. Somehow golf is more fun in the early spring or in the winter because you feel that you are cheating mother nature.

After we got done golfing we decided to play a game of horse or 21 on the basketball court outside my apartment complex. When we arrived at the court we found 3 highschool seniors messing around. They were all members of their highschool team so they thought it was pretty funny when I challenged them to a game. Evidently to them 28 years old is nearly dead. We beat them 3 straight games thanks in no small part to my deadly jumper .

I was going to skip my nightly run, but I decided to go anyway and now that I am done I feel just great. It is a pleasure running when the temps are a little warmer.

Tomorrow I am going to go see Star Trek and play some tennis at the tennis-dome. I love both tennis (and I haven't played in SO long) and Star Trek so I'm thinking that tomorrow will be another great day.

To top it off my Grandmother made me a batch of my favorite jello dessert and I'm gonna polish that sucker off tonight.
