U might be right He is. Manny is a fighter: he just wants to fight, anyone and everyone. Floyd, on the other hand, wants to keep his undefeated record. After tonight, there's no way he can be sure of that happening if he fights Pacquiao. He'll come up with some excuse. Manny was BEAUTIFUL! The Normal Whores Club

If there's enough money on the table they will brawl not even that will do it. Floyd will not fight him. He will use every excuse in the world about it too. He's going to fight Marquez whose best fights are behind him. He's not interested in fighting the best. He's interested in telling everyone how he's the best fighter in history. My dad said it perfectly, Hatton brought it to him for six rounds before a great punch knocked him out. What would Manny do? No way that fight happens, and that's sad because as much as I can't stand him, it would be a great fight.

They will fight at the end of the year, after Floyd takes care of Marquez this fight with Manny will be the biggest money fight to be made in boxing right now and if you know Floyd you know he's all about the big payday. Another reason I think Floyd will fight Manny is style wise it's a perfect match-up for him, Manny loves to come forward and throw mad punches, against a brawler like Hatton that style works, against a defensive wizard like Floyd that's not a good thing. Manny will be walking into punches all night, kinda like the two fights he had with Marquez, who countered Manny too death in those two fights.

Naw they both fight for the same promoter, Bob Arum, I doubt Arum would put Cotto in the ring with Manny anytime soon, Cotto still has to recover from that whipping he took from cheatin' ass Antonio Margarito.

Just got finished watching ESPN news and Arum said "If Floyd wants Manny he can bring it"... He knows that's the big money fight and trust after Floyd takes care of Marquez the talks between the Floyd-Manny camps will start. I'd say this fight will take place in either November or December.

Floyd is the second best defensive fighter of all time, behind Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whitiker, and guys like Manny who likes to come forward and throw punches in bunches are wide open for counter shots galore. Marquez countered Manny too death in they're two fights, if he had any power behind those punches he would of won both fights. Manny will be forced to box for 12 rounds, if he goes in there swingin' for the fence he'll get ate up by a guy in Floyd who prey's off his opponent's mistakes

lol, no worries. It's good to talk boxing! BTW, I didn't see him fight, but my old man did, and he's always told me about how great of a defensive fighter Willie Pep was. Sweet Pea was always too ho hum for me. I mean, I know you're not supposed to get hit, it's one of the objects of the sport, but sometimes I believe that was paramount for Pernell, at the expense of everything else. He also LOVED to complain in the ring. Shut up and fight. Manny is unbeaten at this weight, and everyone keeps bringing up how his forward style is beatable. Freddy Roach has mentioned this, and I've def. noticed it in his latest fights....he has become a COMPLETE fighter. He has plenty head movement, presents many different angles, and his right hand has become as strong as his left. It's tough to notice when people are just paying attention to his offensive style, but it is there. He is a great, yes, great, technical fighter now. IF Floyd accepts that fight, which I truly believe he won't NO MATTER the payday, it will be the toughest fight of his career, which isn't saying much. THAT is why he won't take it. He does not fight any and everyone. I would have more respect for him if he did that. Mind you, I think Floyd is incredibly talented, absolutely to be mentioned in the best pound for pound. But he likes to blabber about how he's the best boxer in history, and for that you need to take on every challenger, and not a year or two after the match up should have happened. You don't get to talk about being better than Robinson, Louis, Ali etc. by winning against: Hatton -outclassed him De La Hoya -clearly past his prime Baldomir -again, outclassed Judah -overrated for years Gatti -a punching bag Corrales -too little I could go on and on..... If Floyd wants to be mentioned amongst the greats in the sport, he NEEDS to not only take the fight with Manny BEFORE THE SUMMER OF 2010, but he needs to win DECISIVELY. I would love for him to shut me up, I really would. But Floyd isn't taking ANY fight that he might lose, bet money on that shit.

Floyd has no reason to run from Manny because Floyd is still the fastest boxer out there, with supreme defense. It'll be Manny's brawling-boxer style vs Floyd's speed-defense style. Styles make fights. Plys, Floyd's ego is way too big to pass this up. Trust and believe. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher
