Any fans of the tv show Arrested Development?

Most people I talk to have never heard of this show but it's one of my favorites. Albeit quirky, it's very watchable. Just wondering if anybody else had an appreciation for it

I didn't watch it when it was out but I know it was funny. I'll eventually buy the DVD set. It's only 1 season right?

Of course something that is good gets 1 season and the other crap on t.v. is on for 8 or 9 seasons. I hate that.

Yes it was a great show, though I felt it was more clever than hilarious. But I'd take it over Two & a Half Men

i just got through the entire series recently. good stuff! i agree that it's more clever than it is outright funny, but they did a really good job at being clever.

I really wish they would do a spin off movie or something already. This show is just too good for nothing else to come of it and the 3 short seasons just show what good tv is all about

Now I am confused, did a search and doesn't look as if Larry was involved with Arrested Development, yet I recall that when the "CYE" first ran it was called Arrested Development. It then moved to HBO. Anyone know if this is true?

I don't think they're related in any way

no. i'm just guessing here, but there might have been some mix-up where one of the shows started out using the other show's title, but i'm sure that would have been a total accident/coincidence. also, i think jeff garlin might have been on both series, but as totally different characters.

I love Arrested Development! My favourite line from the show is when Gob says to Buster "I'm your older brother nothing you do impresses me." Funny 'cause it's true.

The 3 seasons of Arrested Development probably has the most replay value of any DVD set I have purchased.

Show was genius.

As for the movie... That's been a long-winded rumor. There's been no start-up in production whatsoever. Could happen, but unlikely.

There IS going to be a movie for this hilarious show!!! I read that Michael Cera was the only hold out to sign on, and he finally just signed on to do it about a month ago. Gob is easily the funniest character, followed closely by Tobias.

I just watched the entire run of this series on Hulu.com...it's freakin' hysterical lol lol nod...but, yeah, more clever than funny is a good way to describe it although I found myself laughing out loud constantly.

If you haven't seen it, you can watch every episode on Hulu.com for free...
