When you cheat you have to go right back to the Jenny program. Like Weight Watchers, they teach you a change in lifestyle habits, like making better choices, and volumizing your meals with vegetable, fruits, and salads. I haven't gained anything back but when I cheat the scale creeps up three pounds (especially around the holidays). I follow the program and I lose it right away.

I have been horrible about exercising. I have plateaued and I need to work out more. You are doing great. Keep it up!

Congrats to you. I'm on Jenny Craig too. This is my 4th week. I've lost 21 lbs!!! I'm really happy about it too!

sounds like you're doing great. JC food is tastier than Nutri system that I know. The worst IMO is Medifast!!! I was so hungry...aint no feelin like being hungry but knowin you've shelled out 270 bucks for this crap and you better stick to it or you just gave that $ away is the pitts. mad continued success to you wink

I went on Optifast back in 1990 and I lost 85 lbs. in 6 months and gained back 150. Those fasting diets make you fatter, and the side effect.... I lost my gallbladder at the age of 29. Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers are the best diets out there because you get to eat a well balanced meal. When they tell you there is a side effect like gallstones with the fasts, and kidney stones, as with Atkins, believe them. It is not healthy to eliminate fat and carbs totally from your diet. Your body needs them.

Yea who can eat like that for the rest of thier life those optifasts and medifasts are not good and I was starved luckily I didnt stay on it but for 1 month cuz I was soooo hungry. Its just best to eat a healthy diet most of the time and indulge a little bit.

I've been back to the gym for a few weeks now, started upping my protein intake about 2 weeks ago, cut back on juice & sweets... I'm down 4 lbs so far bananadance

Ask you doctor to refer you to a dietician to manage your diabetes.

My brother in law has type II and that's what the doctor did. He's had to change his diet.

I have two sick cats, and a stressful job that made me fall off track too. Let's regain control, starting with our next meal. Don't beat yourself up. This is a lifetime commitment. Sometimes we will cheat. No biggie. There are 21 meals to a week, with two snacks and a few fruits a day in there. Don't be too hard on yourself if you slipped up and cheated for one or two. Just don't use it as an excuse to give up. Choose your cheats wisely. I cheat with a Jenny snack or with an extra fruit. That won't add on as many calories as a regular high fat or high sugar snack.

Accept the fact that you will slip up from time to time!! It's an ongoing process - a daily/weekly/monthly effort. Don't beat yourself up too much, just get back on track when you can. If you have a cold AND your period, just chill out for a few days so you come back strong when you're well.

A friend once gave me great advice & I didn't realize how true it was until I went through it myself - it's a bit of a roller-coaster. You'll have stretches where you're doing great, & others where you could do better. Don't feel like you've failed if you fall off, but do push yourself to get back in the swing if it's really what you want exclaim
