Anyway, back to the point of this thread, I think that part of the reason there's a huge double standard regarding women molesting children is that you get cases like Mary Kay LeTourneau or women like Debra LaFave below who have sex with their students, most of which are adolescent boys who practically have their budding sexual fantasies fulfilled at an early age and think that they've hit the jackpot to manhood.



However, what this buries are the number of young boys and girls who are molested by their aunts, older cousins, or babysitters who are in a position of authority over them yet use that authority to touch them inappropriately or have those kids tough them inappropriately. Most of these incidents are never even told to the parents, let alone the police.

I think people view it differently because of the 'penetration' issue.
