Yes, indeed it does. I found out a lot about myself. It made me realise who I am as a person and who I am not. I saw many wonderful things and met many wonderful people on my travels and it made me realise how lucky I am to be who I am.

As someone who traveled quite a bit when he was younger, I would say that the same "broadening" can be achieved via books, documentaries and Ye Olde Internete.

For example, I could've saved myself a lot of time, energy and money if I'd just googled "Are English people weird?".

I prefer to be there for the sites, sounds, smells and textures. Vienna Austria looks stunning in photos taken by other ppl but it will mean so much more when I am standing there taking my own photos.

I am travelling down to Newquay(mini surf capital of England) friday morning
