basically there is a huge lad fill in the middle of the Pacific Ocean the size of 2 Texas States, and in some places 90 feet deep, it is killing the sea animals, and it is getting bigger, I am so sad that we are letting this happen,

can't our war dollars go into helping save the planet?

I saw it and it really made me think. Sure, I always have thought about what happens to this garbage, but never knew where it went. I really felt sorry for that poor turtle she showed. I will definitely start changing my habits while shopping now.

yes that poor turtle, what a travesty, can u imaging in 100 years how much worse it will be if we don't do something major NOW

From what I'm understanding, that it's from river run-off, not that it was dumped there purposely?
It's still bad though.

I think some of it is dumped there by cruise ships and ocean liners and submarines. water is the source of life, we fuck that up and we're pretty much roach fodder.
