I am the biggest tea drinker... I drink the real stuff: black tea, I get ghetto english PG tips and keep the bags in an airtight pot. Brew it so it is almost dark red, looks almost like coffee, add milk and sugar... reheat if needed, drink in a mug...

Yes on the pepermint, I've tried white tea and peppermint.
Just last night I tried a sample at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Mango Green Tea Latte, that was yummy.

Anyways.....my local coffee shop manufactures a bomb ass blueberry roobois tea Made from the leaves of a plant that grows exclusively in South Africa's Western Cape province, the nutty-flavored rooibos is often referred to as "red tea." It's packed with anti-oxidants and Vitamin C and blended with organic berries and flowers for a flavor that is bright, clean, and irresistibly juicy.

Tea lovers enjoy a good tea milk free, sugar free so nothing can ruin the flavour and benefits. I may add only honey during wintertime, very comforting. Is there any place of refuge one can flee from this insanity

Probably white tea. Anything like white peony or better (say silver needle like Jers mentioned).
I'm well into herbal 'tea' at the moment though. I could talk about tea for days, which is precisely why I'll keep this answer short and leave it at that.
