There was no outcry and I was "taking it too personal" when a person called a woman's body gross. Some even defend/protect that point of view by agreeing with that mess. There is no difference here.

How can we learn not to judge harshly and become fair minded when we as women can't even agree on what's healthy, proportionate or even natural? And we wonder why so many say such fucked up shit.

She is rail thin... but say some one like Calista Flockheart... she is thin too, but not as tall. Does the height add to the pronounced bones because a taller woman would naturally have a wider pelvis, shoulders, longer legs... etc. ?

I think she has a problem.

My cousin used to be like that. One month I saw her and she was skinny, I thought nothing of it. 2 months later she was skinnier which raised the alarms for me. I raised my concern about her to my mother who did not realize it. We got her to go to a hospital and they admitted her to the out patient psychology ward. She was indeed anorexic. They helped her in relation to counselling and monitoring food intake, etc. She had to report in and they would weigh her. She had to follow a food intake plan to gain weight back. This was last year. It's still a long road for her but I hope over time she will heal. I believe this is in relation to the sudden death loss of her mother (my aunt/moms sister) 3 years ago and she has not really come to terms with it.

This year she seems ok. She does not eat big portions but does eat. She's newly married and involved in doing christian work with her husband.

No, that thread turned in to (wasn't really about originally) a "look how hot Serena is" thread where people expressed their "personal" opinion that they did not think she was hot in any way. It wasn't about health, fat, thin or (at that point) role models for young people, it was about (after it degenerated) and i paraphrase "is she hot". To which alot of people said NO.
