do you ever try to match up something that happened to you to what you read in your horoscope or a fortune cookie?

i had the $5.99 lunch special at loon yee's carry-out and my fortune cookie said something wonderful would happen soon... so if "it" happens, should i be grateful for the luck of the draw of my fortune cookie, or should i not believe that those cookies are good at predicting my future (although tasty) lol
