And to add a bit more to that, prevention is teaching men, teens, boys that no matter what a woman says, or does, or even whether you respect her or not, 'no' means 'no' and when you violate a woman that way, no responsibility for your violence towards your victim should be placed on your victim - something I've said in countless posts in this thread. Allowing there to be some accountability on a victim just gives the victimizer another fucked up excuse to abuse.

You know, you may have been raised to understand this...but obviously many men have not and that's the problem. And even if you were raised to respect women you still think some blame can be placed on her in certain circumstances.

That to me that is royally fucked up and other than what I've said already in here, there is really not much more that I can say.

And we will continue to disagree that it's ONLY on males to prevent rapes, when women should be taught how to avoid certain situations that can lead to being in a situation to where a sexual assault can happen. Again, BOTH male and females need to be eductaed on rape. Many people make bad judgement calls because that is all they know. Bringing people out of the darkness of their lives into the light is another way of prevention. for when you help people to be whole they won't be a destroyed person raising more destroyed people.
