What else could respect for females mean? Respect doesn't come in variety that I know of, unless you can tell me? Respect is respect. Respect her. Period. That covers everything including rape. Where's Aretha when I need her? lol

But if there's something in particular that you're getting at, go ahead and drop it on us.

Just that respect her is pretty vague. Like how do you respect a woman when it comes to rape? Say please and thank you? Or respect meaning that no matter what position you're in with a woman, no means no.

One thing that's never vague is respect. There is no grey area for respect. Either you respect someone or you don't. Men that rape don't respect women. Period.

What does 'respect for females' exactly mean when discussing rape? In other words, what exactly do men need to learn when it comes to them being in that kind of situation?

I think what she's implying, and I stand corrected is that how can you say to respect females, but have booty calls after 11pm? That's not respect, but I dunno.

As long as it's two consenting adults agreeing to the booty call, where's the disrespect??? Wanting to fuck isn't inherently disrespectful IMO.

Booty Calls can be with your girlfriend. That term has evolved. And how is it disrespectful when the decision to conduct a Booty Call is agreed upon by both (or all 3 if you get down like that razz ) involved? It only becomes disrespectful when you're simply using that person as a Booty Call and they aren't IN on that decision to be made solely a BC. Plus, women call up Booty Calls as well, so let's not just think it's a "Man thang". thumbs up!

It depends on who it is. If she isn't the type you bring home to momma, then... If she didn't respect herself, and she didn't because it was a one night stand, then Tyson had no respect for her. Avoidance overall that day is respect, and unfortunately he paid for it.

But he's not responsible for her disrespecting herself, she is. And they BOTH paid for that infamous night.

Well, yes they've both paid and I didn't say that Tyson is responsible for her irresponsiblities. That's why I said if he had a good lawyer, he wouldn't have to spend one day in jail.

Honey, Alan Dershowitz was one of his lawyers so that's as good as it's gon' get. No amount of lawyering is going to beat an unfair trial. Even one of the appelate judges said he was amazed at the unfairness displayed during the trial.

In the interview conducted after the license granting yesterday a questions was asked about the new book entitled 'America On Trial, Inside The Legal Battles That Transformed Our Nation' by Alan Dershowitz.
In his new book famed attorney Alan Dershowitz recently released findings regarding the 1992 rape trial of Mike that he says show the boxer was innocent of raping a beauty contestant.

Mr. Tyson, who maintained, and continues to maintain his innocence, was surprised by the findings of Mr. Dershowitz, and wishes that there was some way his case could be retried.

Here are some of the revelations Dershowitz exposes in his book: critical information was withheld from the jury; false information was given to the jury; evidence that the Defendant and her relatives lied to the court; false information was given to the jury regarding the Defendant's background. He also maintains that three eyewitnesses were not allowed to testify, whom he believes would have won the case for Tyson; and maintains that at least four of the jurors "urged" the court to give Tyson a new trial.

Regarding the Tyson trial, Dershowitz said, "hard cases make bad law, then the Tyson case proves that unpopular defendants often receive bad justice."

Footages and reactions on the case can be seen in the "Beyond The Glory: Mike Tyson" documentary in the Virtual Theater.

So, not even Cochran when he was alive could have tried it? He's gotten OJ off. Remember his line "If it don't fit, you gotta acquit", something like that lol

And there it is.

For sure, prevention absolutely is key but trying to avoid situations (in anything) never, ever actually addresses the problem in the first place.

When I talk about prevention, I'm not talking about preventing yourself from being a victim, I'm talking about preventing people from being victimizers.
