This is very cool. They have magazines dating back to the 40s/50s on up! Real cool... It's like going back in history.

It is reported "Johnson Publishing Company" has partnered with Google to digitize its magazine archives. If you are a "Jet", "Ebony", and/or "Black World/Negro Digest" reader, like I have been, from back in the day (my family and I currently read the former two), just click below on the magazine of your choice and, then once in the site, all is self-explanatory to 'read' a particular issue or article.

i guess when i was a kid i don't recall thinking Jet was a 'black magazine'
i just looked at it because some one like Prince Janet Eddie Murphy etc. was on it , someone i liked in the entertainment world.

I think i have a Prince one somewhere stashed away

My husbsnd's uncle was featured in Jet because he was recognized by Milwaukee Brewing for his invention that made the brewery run more effectively. Now we can read all about it. How cool is that?

I have a whole bunch of Ebony and Jet issues from the 70s.Just last year,I bought some more old issues from ebay.This stuff is fun to collect!
