I'm in Ireland celebrating my birthday and I'm having the time of my life. This city is incredible. It's rained almost nonstop since I got here, but I don't care: It's beautiful everywhere I go, and the people are amazing.

Some things I've learned since I got here:

* These Dublin lads are very good looking.
* Some of them are very friendly.
* The ladies are nice too and very helpful if you get lost.
* This is one of the most walkable cities I've ever been in.
* Guinness rocks.
* I'm in love with the Kit Kat Chunky. I know that's stupid to say, but I don't care. I'm obsessed with those things. I've had one every day since I got here. They're a million times better than American Kit Kats.
* These Dublin lads are very good looking. It bears repeating.

So let's hear it for Dublin!

I wish I were there to celebrate MY birthday

Never been but want to do an extended stay in Ireland and visit several places! People do seem friendly, they enjoy a good drink, have some great writers, lush green landscape- seems like fun.

i'm glad you like Dublin, but if you get a chance you should head west to Galway.
