The handles on shopping carts and baby strollers don't stick out far enough so I kick the cart/stroller when I walk. and I'm not exactly long legged.

Another thing: I have been wondering lately about the power of prayer and the power of "You". By that I mean, If you pray for something or about something, should you sit and wait for God to drop an answer in your lap? Or should you ALSO become proactive? I was wondering this when the topic of conversation turned to unemployment here in Michigan, while at work. When I was laid off in November, I prayed about finding a new job every single day, several times per day. However, I didn't leave it at that. I got myself out there and made it happen. That doesn't mean that I lack faith in God; I felt that I had to do more than pray and wait.

One woman at work said "All you have to do is pray; everything will be alright". Though I believe in the power of prayer, I don't believe that prayer and prayer alone is ALWAYS the answer. I think God helps those who help themselves.
