anyone know about surgery stuff???

i need to know what type of alcohol or iodine they clean you with prior to surgery.

well, it might depend on where you're getting the surgery. if you have an idea of where the surgery will be taking place, you need to contact that facility and ask them.

This is a good question. hmmm I had an operation back in 2001, and didn't even think to ask my surgeon this question. doh! Luckily, everything turned out okay.

some folks are very allergic to the adhesive on bandages confused my son ended up with a rash on his eyebrow that left a scar almost worse than the cut that had required stitches. confused

I'm allergic to certain anesthesia. I wake up wretching.
They have to add anti-nausea meds to my IV. shake

sad Sorry to hear about what happened to your son. I seem to have an allergy to adhesive on bandaids. I notice an itchy, red rash on my skin where the sticky part of the bandaid was placed.

hug My brother is the same way. I remember once when he had to have an operation on his leg. He woke up sick to his stomach and vomiting.
