don't have kids, but they will get a beating...you have to teach them young.

My kids don't hit me. Never have.

They get angry of course, but never have even tried to hit me. If they did I wouldn't "beat the hell out of them". That kind of mentality I don't get.

My daughter has never hit me and I have never beat her either!

No one is allowed to hit anyone in my family.

My parents are two of the most gentle people I've ever met in my life. But, if I'd ever tried to hit them -- either one -- I'd be forever changed. In an instant. Lemme tell ya.

she does on occaision take a swing at me.
I usually deserve it, it's quite sweet, but I remember myself and stop winding her up and explain she shouldn't slap people, least of all people who are bigger than her.

kids tend to repeat behavior they see... talk to her teacher if she is in daycare... she may hit a child this way and that's bad. She's at that age.
Make sure you stop her before she begins to bite people. Biting is soo bad. Kids her age tend to do that.

I don't have kids,but if I did I would not let them hit me at all,whether in anger or play. I also would'nt hit my child either,I have seen where time outs do work if you are consistent with it.

little kids might hit out at their parent cause they can't control their emotions yet, but no, mine sure aren't allowed! and they would never.
