Because of this thread I actually decided against going out for lunch/dinner, and am actually making one right now! Last night for my women's group I made a Spinach one but had no time to eat any. I had an extra crust left in the fridge, so 5 minutes ago I just threw one together with cheese, herbs, and some prociutto and popped it in the oven! saving the time on going out will help me get by fed-exes done by 6pm

for sure, i love bacon, broccoli, cheddar, and mushroom quiche
a good muffin on the side, like double blueberry or strawberry....
and a salad if you want it, fruit salad is also a great side dish

have you ever had a tortilla tapa from Spain? it's really similar, baked nice and solid till you can cut it like a piece of pie..but the white potatoes they have inside make weigh me down so much I waddle like a duck after I eat it, so I usually boycott tortilla for quiche

Quiche is pretty darn good. What's funny is, my mom made a quiche for Easter (my family and I are not really ham lovers). I made a fruit salad as a side dish, just as you suggested above. It was really a nice, refreshing addition to the quiche.
