Because it would seem an odd choice to have a single expectant mother officially greeting visitors at a church in the Bible Belt. Are you kidding??? I thought that was a requirement at most churches as a way to show you that the greeter is obviously welcoming . . . to strangers.

Early Saturday morning was spent in the ER with our youngest, who's been having more trouble with her asthma lately. She's doing better, but she's got to take a steroid, which we hate. Tomorrow is her 9th birthday, and her party was supposed to be Saturday afternoon, but was canceled on doctor's orders. BOO.
Saturday night I attended Desi's bachelorette party! (For those who don't know, Desi grew up with CarrieLee, moved to Tampa, met Chris through Carrie, and now she and her sister are good friends of ours. Ah, the Org!) I didn't want to go, especially with Mari being sick, but DaddyKRS took good care of her. I'm glad I went. Desi's work friends flaked on her and it ended up being pretty much me, her and Cristina. We got her good and drunk: She was peeking in the cracks of all the stalls in the women's bathroom, screaming that she could see everyone's vagina. I lurve her. The Normal Whores Club

It still cracks me up that all of you are friends and technically I've never met you and Chris! I was friends with Cristina and then Desi came along. So bizzaro!

Did you know that I lived in Taunton for a few months, years ago? It's such a small world. Cristina just emailed me the rest of the pics. They are not for sharing. The Normal Whores Club

Ya there's lots of those in Taunton...especially now. When I was growing up it was a great city. There are beautiful old homes there and now they are all chopped up into ghetto apartments. It's a shame. Whatever, I don't live there anymore So weird though...I told Cristina I have to make a trip down to Tampa and hang out with all of you!

I don't blame you, it feels like Hades here in the summer months. Plan for November or March, those are our best months.
