A pregnant Elisabeth Hasselbeck jokes about getting hit by a bike at 15:10 on April 15, 2009, EDT.
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS NEW YORK - Elisabeth Hasselbeck says she feels fine after trying to hail a cab from a Manhattan sidewalk and getting hit by a bike instead. The pregnant co-host of ABC's "The View" joked about the hit-and-run incident on Wednesday's show, noting that whatever the speeding courier was carrying, it must have been delivered on time. She told viewers that afterward, she sent a reassuring message from her phone to her husband, former NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck. Then she posted an update on the Twitter website to announce: "The belly is OK." ©The Canadian Press, 2009 Ummmmm no brains between the ears to go to doctor to make sure baby is ok and she's joking about this?? Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! REAL MUSIC by REAL MUSICIANS - Prince "I kind of wish there was a reason for Prince to make the site crash more" ~~ Ben |

I actually saw the show in question, and she clearly was not injured or harmed in any way. I'm no fan of Lizzie by any stretch, but shame on whoever wrote this story, purposely taking her comments out of context, and shame on the rest of us who would pass judgement on her without knowing what she said exactly during the taping, or whether she went to a doctor or not. For whatever she is politically, the woman is on her third child and has always come across as an informed, engaged, adept mother. Must have been a slow news day for anyone to attempt a spin at this non-story.

Smooches;) Y'anno..? Not to mention everytime she drops one she goes into athlete training camp similar to what her husband did as a pro-baller...please...that chick is alright. I'm actually surprised the biker didn't spring off her Wonder Woman-wannabe ass into a New York sewer...that being said, as an advocate for pregnant moms demor repub, I'm glad the heiffer is fine and it clearly wasn't serious

I know she's been through a lot in her life, but she has so many things to be happy about; a successful career, loving husband, twin babies...I just look at her on television and want to say "Bitch, stop snarlin'

OJ Did It!" dude was "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."
