They had their own schools, their own ( American ) cars, their own supermarkets (PX) and their own cinemas. We used to play basketball together and went to clubs, weekends were fun back then.Good times ! Now that they´re all gone since 1992 the whole city has turned into a ghosttown in some ways.It´s like a totally different town these days. did you live in near Spangdalum or Bitburg? | |

We visited Germany when hubby's mom and her husband were stationed there (for many years). Beautiful, my favorites where their Christmas markets and Rothenburg. Chinese food in Germany was...strange.
I wish I'd learned the language before going. I felt like they were shouting at me. Which sometimes was kinda hot. | |
