It was like that movie 28 days later where that one dude wakes up and finds himself alone in London. There wasn't movement almost anywhere on the base, even though the grounds were still being maintained for some reason. Anyways, Stuttgart is beautiful, vibrant and upbeat. The clubs here are great, the resturants are nice, and....Turkish Germans lawd ...more to CUM later.... I know that feeling. My hometown used to be a very important military base and I grew up with lots of American friends. They had their own schools, their own ( American ) cars, their own supermarkets (PX) and their own cinemas. We used to play basketball together and went to clubs, weekends were fun back then.Good times ! Now that they´re all gone since 1992 the whole city has turned into a ghosttown in some ways. It´s like a totally different town these days. did you live in near Spangdalum or Bitburg?

You're cute.
We visited Germany when hubby's mom and her husband were stationed there (for many years). Beautiful, my favorites where their Christmas markets and Rothenburg. Chinese food in Germany was...strange. I wish I'd learned the language before going. I felt like they were shouting at me. Which sometimes was kinda hot.

I like to go to Helgoland when it's sunny and I thought I was remembering some horn anthem on the way out when the boat passes through your place?!
