I've only been here a few days and I already love it. For those of my friends on facebook, I'll post a bunch more photos, but all I can say is I love it here.

The first two pictures are from a charming little town near Stuttgart called 'Calw', and the last picture is outside a Chinese Restaurant in Sembach, Germany--nothing special, but I have a lot of fond memories of that time in my life when I was in the Air Force.

Semback Air Force base is now 'shut down' and there is only a skeleton admin crew there. We drove around the base and it was a walk through memory lane, but also eerie. It was like that movie 28 days later where that one dude wakes up and finds himself alone in London. There wasn't movement almost anywhere on the base, even though the grounds were still being maintained for some reason.

Anyways, Stuttgart is beautiful, vibrant and upbeat. The clubs here are great, the resturants are nice, and....Turkish Germans lawd

My nephews riding their bikes along the bike trails behind Dachtel.
The towns on the outskirts of Stuggart have miles and miles of biking trails through beautiful woodlands and grassy fields. It's stunning in places.



I saw a guy herding sheep in this spot. It was really neat for a city boi like me to witness. Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera on me the evening I saw this.
