The thing is Susan Boyle isnt crazy, the industry is. The standards are completely backwards. The freakshow is passing judgment on the normal world like its wrong. This woman is doing what people have been doing since the beginning of time, standing up straight, singing. Somehow, shes being ridiculed and when she actually can sing, everybody has the nerve to be floored. If she were riffing, and running, taking off her shoes, rolling on the floor, and wearing trendy clothes, shed be somehow, hot. Nevermind if the riffing and running was horrible, insincere, and inappropriate. Nevermind if the theatrics and clothes were unnecessary and she really had no true concept of what singing was. I've heard some people actually calling her ugly. And you should see whos saying it. The inmates are running the asylum. | |
