I have to different pairs, one for the iPod,one for the laptop.

These are Sentry earbuds. I thought the little flower on the headphones, and the little dragonfly slider charm were cute. They were $12.99,and have great sound.

I also have a pair of the ScullCandy ones. They are pink,no frills, but they are the ones that I use the most.

I have extremely tiny ear holes. Nothing fits in them. I like the ones that go outside of the ear. I do not know what brand is best. I never spend a lot on them. Best Buy always has a lot to choose from.

I have the same problem - those ipod ones are really painful and the sound quality is pants. I bought a pair of Philips Gel ones (SHE9501) they come with three different gel buds so they fit comfortably in your ear. I find the sound quality to be really good (but I'm no expert shrug ). They come with a fairly short lead but has an extender should you need more length (and wahar girl couldn't use more length?! giggle )

I rate them anyway, but after over2 years continual use they're on their way out, so I too am looking to invest in a new pair thumbs up!
I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

I hate spending too much money on earphones since they get ruined anyway because I use them mostly during my workout. So I often buy some cheap Sony or Philips stuff but that is sonically so frustrating that I ´m going to buy some midrange Sennheiser or Panasonic earphones these days.

My mp3 player´s volume is way too low due to some new regulations in this country. The louder ones are outlawed now.

I bought some KOSS Sportapro headphones for jogging but I´m kind of disappointed since my expectations were probably too high after hearing and reading about the legendary sound of the KOSS Portapro model. The KOSS Sportapro is supposed to have the same great sound, and yes, they´re okay but not really that great.

The customer reviews on Amazon were spectacular. neutral

They are relatively cheap at around $20.00 and the sound is rich and not tiny since the earphone is not made of solid metal like those stupid Ipod headphones. I can't believe as marvelous a product as ipod would have those horrendous headphones and they are so expenseive to replace to boot! disbelief

Aside from the richness in sound, I love these becuase they don't swivel around in my ear. they stay in place for better sound. Personally I can't use the noise canceling earphones as the small bud is too little to stay in place and the large bud hurts my jaw. These are perfect.

I hate earbuds. They make my ears hurt, physically. But I picked up the ones Supa posted above for a guy that works for me who needed some new ones and he said those are pretty awesome.

Yes they do. I own a pair that sound great for enjoying music and they feel comfortable. They were expensive, but they were definitely worth it. People are looking for general manufacturers instead of specialists. That's why they get disappointed.

I have Skull Candy earbuds that I got aat Target for around 16.99. I love them. They cut out all the other sound around and come with 3 different sets of thingies that adjust to the size of your ear canal.

Very well.

The only issue there is because they seal off your entire ear, the cord conducts all noise into your ear, so if you’re bouncing around a lot and banging it against things it can be minorly annoying. But that’s true of any earbud like these. (The advantage to it is that you get superior sound quality at much lower volumes, so better for your hearing!)

I do these. ear buds hurt, but i don't want the band over my head or behind my neck that you get with the usual cheap headphones. these are like the regular headphones, but they clip over your ears.

a lot of companies used to make these, but they're getting harder to find. really loved my Sony ones. these aren't bad:
