My taxes came and went last month. I was a good girl and paid off my credit card. It feels sooooo good to have that debt gone!

I bought 2 new pairs of glasses (bifocals aren't cheap! eek) and paid some bills... biggrin

I finished mine electronically monday. In my area, no post offices will be open late, so if you are one of the idiots who waits till 11:55p.m. to mail them, you're outta luck in Santa Barbara.

I did my federal on Taxact.com but because I'm too cheap and don't wanna pay the $16 fee,
I'm doing my state on my own since they already figured out how much I owe, just gotta find the time to do it on paper.

lol

Been too busy moving, hopefully today is the last day I'm moving (been doing little by little ~ a couple of car loads a day).

H&R Block is a total rip off. I own a business and have rental properties and I've been using TurboTax online for 10 years. It's really easy. No audits and I usually get a refund. pray The hardest part is organizing all the payments that I shoulda been doing all year and having to input them all at once. Speaking of which, I gotta do that mess right now. sigh

I've heard TurboTax is pretty good. I've never used it. Since I'm single and don't have all the additives, it's just basic math and looking up the tax in the tax section. Ohhh... good luck organizing them. Hope you were able to get it all done! smile

I've been using TurboTax online since '99 and it's da BOMB! My best friend ended up coming over yesterday for me to finish his retun. He paid somebody almost $500 last year to do his taxes but when I did it for him on TT he got over $1000 more on his return. It baffles me that people still pay others to do simple returns. So, he's taking me out on Friday as payment and I'ma eat up and drink up all kinds o' shit on his dime. woot!

I wont say if it's lil or not.....I have references you can check with.....

Turbotax was great especially after realizing that I saved over $100. That's what I used to pay my tax service.

Right?

I broke down and paid off one of my credit cards with my return. It's great but that was vacation money. Luckily I still have money left.
