here we go! THIS is more like!!!!!
at first i wanted to create something ginormous, something massively significant that would make everyone in here stand up and take notice, something that would leave my mark on the world. i wanted to make a butter sculpture to end all butter sculptures, and launch myself in one smooth master stroke into the ranks of the butter sculpture professionals. make them positively DROOL with envy at my style, sheer novice talent and dedication to this worthy cause. but THEN i re-thought my approach, i realized that sometimes simplicity is the best way to go, and that the understated can pack just as potent a wallop as the flamboyant. sometimes it's the whisper that we hear best, instead of the shout. sometimes when we speak softly, and carry a big stick of butter, we draw more attention to ourselves than we do if we scream and dance around, waving the butter overhead wrapped in an american flag, or any other flag for that matter. so i thought and i thought and i sketched and i drew and i molded and i shaped and by golly i think it came out pretty dang cool! just take a look at this, my friends:
