Photoshop help please! I am trying to fix a photo and I finally figured it how to do it. I used the Patch tool. It worked great. So I thought I'd try and do it again. It won't work everytime I try it says "could not use the patch tool because the selected area is empty".
Anyone know how to solve this? Love M

Anyone know how to solve this? Love M Make sure you are in the right layer, or that the option to sample from all layers is marked.

Anyone know how to solve this? Love M Make sure you are in the right layer, or that the option to sample from all layers is marked. I closed it again and then I opened it and it worked. Very strange!!!!! The right layer, do you mean adjustment and then the layer from background option? [Edited 4/11/09 15:19pm]

[Edited 4/11/09 15:19pm] open your layers window, do you have more than one layer in your file (for example if you copied from another file and pasted into this one)

Isn't the whole pic full of pixels? it is, but if you are using the patch tool, you lassoo around the area you want to patch - not just click. Then you drag to an area where you want to pick up texture from and then let go.
