i've been pretty obsessed with the comic book PROMETHEA lately. i've been reading the collected volumes and loving each issue more than the one i'd just finished. very well thought out, very entertaining, very smart writing and gorgeous artwork and layouts.

I swore when I had my own place that I would have color and I've yet to do it three years on. All I know is when you look through the photo album of my friend's, the "before" photos everyone looks like they are sitting in a jail cell with those damn pale walls. The color in the "after" photos just makes things look finished and lived in.

Aura has some nice yellow\golden hues. I'm leaving the teal or turquoise for my "office" area. All of my mermaid stuff is going in this area. Hmmmm got a few of them, let me see if I can list them all.
1) Prince. My oldest obsession. Rather fading, but still quite alive. 2) Twilight series...kinda fading, but just went to Forks, WA last week 3) Sookie Stackhouse book series (True Blood) 9th book coming out in 15 days 4) Pain. Not as nice as it sounds. I've gotten a gym membership and personal trainer. First session was this past Saturday and it was too much too soon. I'm in PAIN like you WOULDN'T BELIEVE and I can't help but think about it 'cause it HURTS LIKE HELL! 5) The past. I'm facebooking now and have found 5 old friends of mine. It all started with going through old pictures. That's all off the top of my head. What's worse...having so many or none at all? I'm firmly planted in denial

The only thing might be that you're an Anne Rice fan. It just depends on how "flexible" you are regarding vampire lore. I read the Twilight books first, then the Sookie books. What's crazy is I never considered myself "into" vampire books, but now that I've read two series centered around vampires, I want to read the Anne Rice books How ass-backward is that??? The Twilight and Sookie books are very easy/light reading. They are a totally guilty pleasure for me. I'd start w/ "Twilight". (JMHO) I'm firmly planted in denial
